Barbie Movie Vent

I saw a summary of the Barbie Movie with spoilers and I am crushed because now I have zero desire to see it.
(Rant below.)
And I frickin' love Barbie.(Rant below.)
I've had her dolls since I was a kid. I haven't seen all her animated films, but I've liked the handful I have. Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse is a freaking masterpiece of animation and entertainment.
I was so excited for this movie when I started seeing the trailers and the first announcements.
And then I saw that scene of Ken asking to see a "real doctor" to a woman in one of the newer trailers and started to have...doubts.
Then I read the movie summary and saw red. A literally "wtf" reaction.
Why would they do that to Ken.
Why would they think they need to do that to Ken to make Barbie look good.
I know sexism in the real world is a thing but Id' rather have Ken being a positive role model as an example for guys to follow than doing... waves hands at spoilers THAT.
Ken is a supportive boyfriend and Barbie loves him and I love their relationship. I have always loved that Barbie had a guy that supported her independence and careers, who was sweet and still had his own skills.
They worked and were great together and adferesfdsfds. Yeah.
Vent over before I get even more angry. I've been stewing about this all day. XD
