Hey, so CoHost shut down and I saw someone with an active Dreamwidth account and went "oh yeah, I have one too."

So this is my yearly check-in and I added my Bluesky account to my pinned post. XD

Hello! It really is too bad about Cohost, although I've never had an account on the site (I have too many socials to keep track of already!)

I hope that the writing's been going well for you! And that Bluesky is treating you well. It seems to be a real hot spot these days!

Yes! I was sad to hear about their financial issues (it actually made me renew my paid account here lol).

I have really been enjoying Bluesky. Sites like this lean more toward long form content, which I haven't had much time for. Bluesky let's me do more bite sized things without the drama of other micro blogging sites currently on fire.

Yes, in some ways I miss micro-blogging from back when I was still on Twitter... Nobody that I know keeps up with each other through it anymore, though, it's all on Discord (as far as I can tell), so even if I went back I still wouldn't have the community aspect of yore, haha.

I'm glad that Bluesky is working well for you, though!! May it continue to remain drama-free for a long time to come xD

Bluesky has Mute lists that help a lot. Lol.

But yeah. Lots of scattering. Xd
