Marriage

I just watched my penpal friend of over a decade get married over Discord with a chat full of strangers all gathered together in one place to watch her get married to the love of her life.

It was a beautiful service and I'm so happy I was there to see it.

There was so much love in the room from the guests physically present to the chat roaring with people screaming their support, tears, laugher, and love as we watched on a small digital screen that had been put on a table to stream the festivities.

It was beautiful.
