Fanfiction Incoming

 As I'm sitting here wondering what to fill my Dreamwidth journal with, I realized that since it both is great for writing and inflicts a sense of nostalgia, I figured I should probably post links to my fanfics here with a few words about them. :P

I'm in the process of crossposting my fanfics from my Fanfiction.net site over to Archive of Our Own anyway, so I'll go ahead and mix it up with old and new stuff. (Typically I just post a link to the fanfic when I start it, I don't usually update with every chapter. You can subscribe on AO3 if you want that.)

And just for kicks, I'll probably include the original text to the posts I made over on Tumblr & will tag them accordingly.

I'll try to stick to one a day though so it doesn't entirely overrun everything else. ;D

I have decided to help motivate crossposting all these fics, I’m going to have a FANFIC FLASHBACK every time I finish posting one to AO3. XD

Let’s start with the first fanfic I ever posted on the internet! :D That’s right! It was a Yu-Gi-Oh! x Quantum Leap crossover I was writing for a friend.

First posted on Fanfiction.net on August 3, 2005** and last updated August 14, 2007, this fic still makes me smile when I reread it. I can see all my rookie mistakes covering it, but it’s still mine and silly or not, it’s got some good moments.

It was particularly adventurous because I had seen very little of Quantum Leap at the time. But my college roomies loved the show and we couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if Sam popped into a head that already had someone else living in it.

All in all, it was a good start and it’s great to see how far I’ve come, but I still think it’s worth a read if you want to check it out. :P

**If I was smart, I would have posted this tomorrow on August 3rd, the anniversary. But now it’s just funny that I jumped the gun. XD
